Make a walk-in centre booking

You can now avoid the long queues at our walk-in centres by booking a service online. 

About

The City is introducing a new booking system, which will allow you to make your own online booking for the following services:

  • motor vehicle licensing or registration 
  • municipal account payments
  • enquiries or to make account payment arrangements

The booking service is currently only available at a few selected branches.

Booking process

  • Step 1: Select your walk-in centre branch
  • Step 2: Select a service
  • Step 3: Select a date and time for your booking
  • Step 4: Enter your contact details and confirm your name, telephone and email address

You will receive an SMS and email confirmation with your booking reference, which will be required for check-in on the day of your appointment.

Please note

Bookings will only be valid from 15 minutes before, until 15 minutes after your appointment time. If you arrive later, your appointment will automatically be cancelled.

Checking in

On arrival at the walk-in centre where you’ve made a booking, insert your booking reference number on the touch screen terminal to confirm your arrival and receive your unique QMS ticket number. Wait for the next available consultant to call your QMS ticket number.
